Woman arrested with bhang worth Ksh.400,000 in Kisumu


Police in Kondele, Kisumu County are holding a woman who was arrested on Wednesday evening with bhang worth a street value of Ksh.400,000.

According to Kondele OCS Boniface Mutie, the woman was in the company of two other suspects when they were busted ferrying the bhang in a vehicle heading to Manyatta area.

The OCS said the two other suspects managed to escape and are being sought by police.

The car, a Toyota Corolla KAL 796X was towed to Kondele Police Station.

The woman is set to be arraigned on Friday.
