Kenya's youngest Reverend praises Reverend Lucy Natasha for maintaining her virginity, curses girls who lose virginity before marriage

Reverend Victor Githu, a young preacher who is interested in ministering the word of God in Kenya has now through the will of God administered a curse to girls who lose their virginity before marriage.

He has viciously stated that such girls will never know peace for disrespecting their true ribs by fornicating with busybodies. “It is the will of God for a woman to preserve her virginity for her husband. Any woman who cannot adhere to what has been written brings curses to the generation of an innocent man, and the soul of such a woman belongs to the devil” he stated.

According to the 10-year-old ‘Nabi’, women who sleep with countless men before they meet their perfect match will be thrown at the hottest end in hell.

He has urged young girls in the country who are yet to sell their souls to the devil through the sexual sin to emulate Reverend Lucy Natasha, a celebrity preacher who has been able to protect her dignity for ages.

“It is absurd that at 18 we no longer have virgins. Where are we heading as a country if not at the bottom of hell? There is nothing good in having sex with a man who will not be your husband. It is a disgrace and I will not shy from telling the crumbling generation what the most high has ordained me to do” Reverend Githu quipped.

The youngest preacher who has been a subject of ridicule by women in the country has earned himself thousands of male followers in the recent past because of his teachings on submissiveness and forgiveness.

Reverend Githu’s latest remarks on single mothers ignited a public debate online. Women in the country criticized the 10-year-old for disrespecting single mothers and urged the media to stop giving him publicity.

The Reverend once confessed to having attempted to take his life at the age of five, when his mother tried to curtail his blossoming career.

“I told myself, ‘you lady if you do not want me to preach, it is better I commit suicide’. But as I was trying to tie the rope, I remembered I needed to say goodbye to my brother. My brother could not let me die and he immediately ran to inform my mum,” he once narrated.

His mother who was also present during the live gospel show explained what finally brought her around to supporting her son’s passion for preaching.

“He told me that he can preach but I just didn’t believe him. I didn’t even know that he knew English,” she recounted

“So I took him to the market and then went and hid at one of the stalls just to see what he would do. To my surprise, he went ahead and gave a powerful sermon on obeying God with all that you have. I realised there and then that this was his calling,” she further disclosed.

On his part, Githu opened up on the various challenges he constantly faces due to his relatively young age.

“People used to say that I’m crazy when I started preaching, but I tell them one thing, you’d better have craziness that can take you far than the wisdom that will take you nowhere,” he said.

Quizzed on whether he misses being a child and getting involved in games with his agemates, he simply said ‘no’ and added that he prefered engaging in activities such as biking and swimming.

He has been a huge hit on various social media platforms, with his very first video going viral on twitter. Currently, videos of his lively sermons, prayers and interviews garner an average of 100,000 views on YouTube, a remarkable fete for someone so young.

Githu is already being mentioned as one of the evangelists to watch, with his profile on a trajectory that has seen him mentioned among household televangelists such as Pastor Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno evangelism.

His mother gave a candid confession on the struggle she faces due to her son’s ever-growing profile.

“There have been many challenges especially from neighbours and friends who always go around saying I’m just making money out of my son’s prominence,” she revealed.

She went on to make it clear that it was actually Evangelist Lucy Wa Ngunjiri -Founder of Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministries, and Gospel presenter in Itaha Ria Muoyo on Kameme FM, who had volunteered to cater for her son’s every need including the clothes he wears.

“I thank God for the favour,” she reiterated.

I haven’t seen my mother for 10 years because of my wife – Nairobi Man Cries Out

Maina Kageni in the studio

Maina and King’ang’i had an interesting discussion today. Their conversation concerned the phenomenon of wives having so much power over their husbands that they literally control every facet of their lives.
Maina was incredulous that grown men were so easily manipulated/controlled by their women. “Kwani wamerogwa? How is it possible?” he said.
King’ang’i meanwhile wasn’t as shocked and said that it was a common theme among many marriages in Kenya. “You will not see your family for 3 to 4 years and even friends you hustled with. I don’t know how they do it. But you just find that you aren’t seeing your family. It’s all about her and the children.”

One listener stunned Maina when he revealed that he hadn’t seen his mother for 10 years because of his wife’s interference.
I got married when I was in campus so when I was in school, my wife stayed with my mother. So I finished and got a job. Then my wife told me she cant stay with my mother. I had to quit my job and that was it. I have not seen my mother for 10 years.
“I have spent 10 years without seeing my mother. Every time I plan to go, I end up spending the money on issues that my wife brings up. My mother hasn’t seen my two kids since they were born.”
Some of the comments from other listeners are below;
Last year we buried my mother without my brother attending the funeral. His wife had turned him that much – A man said.
After death, fear women. They have certain powers over men and it is too gradual to realise – A man.
How can a grown man call a radio station saying that he hasn’t seen his mom for 10 years. That is his own responsibility – A woman said.
Let them obey their women -A woman said.

The start of family divisions start with women, then in-laws – A man.
I don’t know when you will ever wear a man’s shoes. When I tell her I want to see her my parents, issues pop up but when it is time to go to her family, then the finances come up. It is all about her. I stayed for 1 year and 4 months without seeing my mother. Every time I tried, something came up – A woman said.

These men are outrightly shameless. This is sad to say so. To those that still have their mothers don’t take them for granted – A man said.
How can a grown-ass man claim that he hasn’t seen his mother for 10 years? These men are blaming women for their own choices. You know where your mother leaves, go there and visit them – A woman said.
Men wamekaliwa chapati. The moment you get married you have to spell out rules and regulations. A man is the head of the house and the woman should follow. The men we have are viatus – A man said.

Gladys Boss Shollei Finally Divorces Former Standard Group MD Sam Shollei

Uasin Gishu County Women Representative and former Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Gladys Boss Shollei has finally divorced former Standard Group Managing Director Sam Shollei.

In a ruling delivered early last week in Nairobi, MP Gladys Shollei has been given a favourable ruling allowing her to keep the urban home in Kitisuru Estate Nairobi and the matrimonial farm in Uasin Gishu.

The ruling is said to have been a big relief to the MP who previously obtained orders barring her husband Sam Shollei from her matrimonial home after he eloped with a junior employee at Standard Group, Faith Rono.

Faith Rono worked as a reporter for the Standard before promotion by her then clandestine lover, Sam Shollei, to be the Corporate Communications Manager. Sam Shollei moved into Faith’s house in Langata after he was barred from the Ksh 700 million palatial home in Kitusuru.

Friends of Faith Rono and Sam Shollei have indicated that the couple recently had a traditional marriage ceremony which was witnessed by their family and friends in Uasin Gishu.

In the divorce suit lodged in 2016, Gladys Shollei accused Sam Shollei of abandoning the family, refusing to provide for it, denial of conjugal rights and being abusive.

The couple has managed to keep their marriage woes under wraps with few even knowing that they were going through divorce.

The affair between Sam Shollei and faith Rono was an open secret at Standard Group as the former CEO was also known to eye 2 other girls. Sam Shollei finally settled on the junior staff member who is almost 30 years his junior. Peers of the former CEO have indicated that Sam Shollei might be going through a serious mid-life crisis.

After the separation between Gladys and Sam, Faith Rono also broke-up with Sam as she had previously thought that it’s Gladys who was going to move out of the Kitusuru home. The two later came back together and are now living as husband and wife.

Gladys Shollei has reportedly been given full custody of the couple’s children and she indicated in her suit papers that she doesn’t need any maintenance from her previous husband.

Sam Shollei currently works for disgraced businessman Kamlesh Pattni as a consultant.

Gladys Shollei was controversially pushed out of the powerful Judicial Service Commission on allegations of corruption. She was elected as a Women Representative in Uasin Gishu County in 2017.

TV Anchor Anjlee Gadhvi's last prayer before succumbing to cancer #RIPAnjlee

Celebrated anchor Anjlee Gadhvi has left many in tears with her last post online before she succumbed to cancer.

Gadhvi took to her Instagram post where she shared a famous prayer by St Francis of Assis.

The TV anchor posted the prayer 16 hours before the news of her death hit the airwaves.

The prayer is a call to God to give one peace as they continue to spread love and be the unifying factor.

The prayer which ends with the line "for it is in dying that we are born to eternal life" is a confirmation that the anchor was ready to say goodbye.

The K24 TV news anchor succumbed to liver cancer on Friday, January 10, according to information shared by her boss Peter Opondo.

The deceased media personality was diagnosed with the disease back in 2013.

She was immediately booked for chemotherapy treatment in India.

The secret to your success is who you marry, new study shows

There are numerous stories where a successful person has attributed much of their success to their spouse or partner. We’ve often heard the saying “Behind every successful man there is a woman,” and vice versa. Research shows that the phrase is not just an empty one but there is a lot of truth to it – your success could depend on your spouse.

The study published at Carnegie Mellon University shows that if you have a supportive spouse there are greater chances of you succeeding in life. The study which involved 163 married couples had a rather interesting activity to find out if their theory held any water. As part of the study, partners were given a choice of either completing a simple puzzle or opting to compete for a prize. The partner's interactions with each other were observed by researchers.

What the researchers noticed was that couples who were more supportive of each other were more likely to opt for the competition. Those who opted for the simpler puzzle weren’t very interactive or supportive of each other.

Researchers followed up with the same couples six months later and discovered that the ones who had opted for the challenge were more content in their relationships than the ones who had attempted the simpler activity.

Professor of Psychology at Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Science, Brooke Feeney says “
Many power couples have openly acknowledged the role that their spouses have played in helping them reach the heights that they have. Barrack Obama spoke about ‘his rock’ Michelle Obama on the Oprah Winfrey show in 2011 and how she kept him balanced.
“Obviously I couldn’t have done anything that I’ve done without Michelle.” Obama told Oprah and the world.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook too spoke about the positive influence his wife Priscilla has had on his life when he delivered the commencement speech at Harvard in 2017. He said that she was the inspiration behind the social work that he does.

In 2013, in an interview with Oprah, Beyonce too acknowledged her husband, rapper Jay-Z's support “on so many levels.” She said that she wouldn’t be the woman that she is if he wasn’t in her life.

The study confirms what is a universal truth. If a partner or spouse lacks enthusiasm or is unhappy about the other’s growing success, the marriage will either end quickly or to save the marriage, the spouse will step back from opportunities on the work front and cut back on their chances of success. On the other hand, if the spouse encourages their partner to seek out new opportunities and is ready to give them the desired push when needed, success is bound to follow.

“Significant others can help you thrive through embracing life opportunities or they can hinder your ability to thrive.” author of the study, Feeney explains.

Photographer dies ‘in road accident’ after posting goodbye message on FB

Abiud Wangu Maina

Friends of photographer Abiud Wangu Maina on December 29, 2019 woke up to the shocking news that he was no more.

Abiud had hours earlier posted a message on his Facebook account and many thought he had taken his life because of depression.

However, according to a post by his friend MC Georgez, Abiud died in a tragic road accident at Allsops along Thika Super highway on the morning of December 29, 2019.

“The post-mortem shows he died from excessive bleeding and he had issues with breathing after the accident. I have known Abiud for years now, he was depressed but I’m sure he was not committing suicide,” Georgez said.

After the accident, Abiud was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

In his Facebook post, Abiud noted that 2019 had been a difficult year for him revealing that he had been battling depression but only a few people noticed and tried to help.

“Depression changes u, you may look the same but everything else is different, you act differently, move differently, you speak differently, everything about you is so different that you forget who you are,” he wrote.

He noted that some people were not good at seeking help but he encouraged them to speak out

“Some people aren’t good at asking for help because there’s so used to being the ” helper” thought their life they’ve experience an unbalanced give and take, so their instinct is usually I””LL figure it out on my own ” the -self-reliance is all they’ve ever known. Speak out this thing is devil !!”, he said.

Abiud said he was able to open up and talk about his depression in front of his workmates but still they never noticed he had a problem.

“Last week was the best week for me I was able to stand before my workmate of 11 years I was able to speak my heart but one thing I learned no one notice my tired eyes, that’s how bad depression is no one can notice depressed people acts ok,” he added.

He concluded by thanking God for the opportunity to say goodbye and advised people to pay attention to their friends’ change of behaviour.

Friends reached out on his posts but hours later messages of condolences started trickling in on the same post..
Abuid will be buried this Saturday at Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County.

Photo of the day: Anerlisa Muigai shows us her entire family

Anerlisa Muigai is one of the most beloved and followed rich kids of Kenyan Instagram and as a result, she has amassed a huge social media following of Kenyans curious to get a glimpse into her world and her life.

And Anerlisa Muigai is really not too shy to let her fans catch a glimpse of her life but she is famously protective of her family and she rarely shares photos of them. Until now. And we would be remiss if we did not share the photo of Anerlisa Muigai’s parents and 2 brothers. Check them out below:

I was sexually assaulted -Huddah says of the man who took her virginity

Huddah Monroe or Alhuddah Njoroge as her mother named her has taken a break from trolloping in Dubai where she is living it up in the lap of luxury, staying at one of the most expensive hotels in the world, to tell the world that she was in essence raped.
That is how, according to Huddah, she lost her virginity. And while this has elicited alot of mixed reactions from netizens, many of whom are quick to call up her not so innocent present and the way she got her come up as if it negates the fact that she believes she was sexually exploited.

And she is dead serious by the way:

I had to remove my womb to live a normal life –Actress

Delectable Nollywood Actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim, 44, has revealed that she had

to remove her womb to live a normal life.

The actress who stars in ‘Heaven’s Hell’ which was premiered in the cinemas on Friday, recently shared her story at an event tagged ‘Conversation with Nse.’

Nse also revealed that she was never going to be able to have a baby as she was diagnosed three years ago with Adenomyosis, a condition whereby the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus.

“I was told I couldn’t have kids,” she said to the now sombre audience.

“And so, I had to have a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) to make me have a life again and to stop going through what I was going through. And I’m literarily telling women and men, it really doesn’t matter if you can’t bear children. What really matters is what you would do for the world, for the universe. Tears dropped and then my husband squeezed my hand. It was reassuring there was someone there and it was telling me that this is reality, my reality.”

Machachari star Mama Baha hospitalized in critical condition

Machachari Mama Gov
Machachari actress Mama Baha whom I inadvertently “killed” earlier this year has revealed that she had a hell of an evening -straight outta hell. Mama Baha’s day had started off so well wit her living her best life; sewing mats indoors then she went for a swim.
That was when things started going awry. According to Mama Baha whose real names are Wanjiku Mburu she ended up feeling like some pain was creeping up her tummy. What followed was a night of horror as her doctor ended up telling her she was in critical condition.

Check out what Mama Baha had to say about the night that was:
Today, was an ordinary day.spent the day in doors sewing my mat…you know pretty ordinary day.later in the evening went for swimming and did my 100 laps then went home and prepared for the night, pajamas and all…cut to around 9pm I felt weird in my stomach and decided to go to hospital for a quick check only to be admitted..yaani life changes in an instant and thank God I listened to my body because according to the doctor I am critical..sigh.

‘I don’t miss the anxiety of constantly wondering if baby is okay,’ Kambua

Kambua received the biggest blessing in her life this year, her baby boy.
It was public knowledge that she had been struggling to get a baby and when the miracle happened, she kept it under wraps for a while before announcing to the world and that is understandable.

She had been through a lot of emotional trauma she just wanted to savour the moment.
Kambua took to social media a list of the things she misses when she was pregnant.
“1. I miss being able to eat food without people judging my portions 😂
2. I miss being offered a seat wherever I went or ushered to the front of the line
3. I miss my husband rubbing my feet
4. I miss not having to suck in my tummy when taking pictures 😅
5. I really miss my baby’s kicks 🥰” Kambua listed
In as much as there were great moments during her pregnancy, she also had the bad days she does not want to remember.
Days that were full of morning sickness and worry.

1. I DON’T miss being hungry all the time
2. I don’t miss being very sleepy all day
3. I don’t miss having to sleep with so many pillows!
4. I don’t miss turning around like a truck in my sleep
5. I don’t miss all day sickness in my first tri.
6. I don’t miss the anxiety of constantly wondering if baby is ok
Kambua shared her list so that she can interact with her fellow first-time mothers. A project she is so passionate about because she wants to help those who suffered through the same thing she went through.
She openly says she would not want anyone to go through it alone.
2019 has seen many mothers experience the miracle of God’s when it comes to children.
Other than Kambua, Size 8 is also another female celebrity who went through a lot during her pregnancy but she is grateful to God for the blessing in her arms.
