The recent past has been of discussions on why men are finding pleasure in masturbating, it’s been called wanking, some even doing it in public.
The act is considered a social malpractice and has been condemned even in the holy books different versions coming up with different explanations on the implications the vice comes with.
It is now evident that it is a problem affecting men regardless of status or position in the society.
Collins Majalle, popularly Collo has come out to give his experience regarding masturbation which medical science still vouches for as a healthy exercise. The former secular artist who crossed over to gospel says he regretted finding himself in the scenario of getting addicted to the act.
During an interview on Radio Maisha’s Konect program ran by Mwende Macharia and Clemmo, the Bazokizo hit star acknowledged the act to his addiction to pornographic images and videos.
He said the fact that he had found it hard to walk out of the porn addiction was which made him “choke the monkey” big time without any hopes of ever overcoming.
He kept it to himself thanks to the fears of stigmatization he would be subjected to if he would have decided to open up then. Having no one to share the story and seek solution to is what catalyzed the urge to keep doing it even more.
Upon seeing salvation and crossing from secular to the gospel world was when he had an eye-opener beginning his journey to absolve himself out of masturbation.
The former Kleptomaniac constituent adds he almost lacked the chance of siring children, and if that would be the case, then masturbation would the main cause.
Collo says when one ejaculates out of masturbation they create what he also says are ‘spiritual babies’. He says the ‘spiritual babies’ thereafter bar the addict from reproducing in future when the need arises.
He also through his revelation suggested that the impotence men suffer from could be having masturbation as the main reason. He during the chat advised against the vice, urging addicts to seek help.
Another public figure to have ever opened up regarding the same is Johnson Mwakazi, a former news anchor and journalist at Citizen TV. Mwakazi also attributed the vice to his addiction to pornography. He also came out of what Collo says is a bondage.
