The woes facing Joseph Kori's lover Judy Wangui are far from over after the former accused her of colluding with car dealers to change ownership of a Mercedes Benz car that he had bought her.
Wangui and car hire operator Michael Githae were charged with the murder of Kori's wife Mary Wambui Kamangara.
Appearing in court on Friday, March 15, Kori told Kiambu Senior Magistrate Stella Atambo he had bought his mistress a Mercedez Benz saloon car but it's ownership remained registered under his name.
Through his lawyer Harrison Thimba, Kori accused Wangui of colluding with other people to alter the car ownership documents in her favour despite being in police custody over Wambui's murder.
“The motor vehicle belonging to my client (Kori) has been released, the only pending issue is about the other motor vehicle KCR 898L, which was illegally transferred to Wangui when my client was in custody,” said Thimba, adding that the car belonged to Kori.
After he was released from police custody, the businessman found out the car which is identical to that of his late wife had its ownership changed.
The car alongside the one he was driving and that of his wife had all been detained in Juja Police Station.
The new accusations against his lover came after it emerged that Kori had signed a deal with the prosecution to testify against his mistress.
The deceased is reported to have been fatally injured when she got into a fight with the accused lady at her Fourways Junction home after the two ladies had a good time together for the better part of that fateful day.
During her burial on Saturday, March 3, Kori occasionally sunk into a trance, maybe reflecting on the void left by the painful departure of the apple of his eye.
“You are irreplaceable. With your departure I feel a part of me has been taken away. Your charm, jovial mood and readiness to assist everyone will always be remembered. I want to assure you of my undivided and unconditional love to our sons,” mourned the man.
