President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday announced the sacking of Sports CS Rashid Echesa, replacing him with Education CS Amina Mohamed.
Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Chairman and former University of Nairobi Vice- Chancellor Prof George Magoha has been nominated for appointment as the new Education CS and the move has been lauded by Kenyans.
Netizens welcomed the sacking of Echesa, praising the Head of State for cracking the whip.
