An elderly woman has won the hearts of many Kenyans following the terror attack at DusitD2 Hotel yesterday.
This is after she arrived at the busy crime scene in a white minivan fully packed with bread, tea and cups ready to serve our police officers even as they pursued the Al-Shabaab attackers, who had laid a siege on the hotel, and rescued people from the ill-fated building.
A photo of the unnamed lady emerged on Wednesday, showing her interacting freely with the police officers and serving them tea and bread following hours of intense security operation that started at about 3pm on Tuesday.
The gesture by the woman touched the hearts of Kenyans who urged their fellow country men and women to emulate the woman and come together to defeat terror in the country.
The terror threat was neutralized on Wednesday morning by our gallant security forces, who killed all the terrorists at the hotel.
