Jacque Maribe makes unexpected request in Today's court hearing


Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe has now requested the court to allow her change the statement she had earlier recorded with the police.

This comes a few hours after Jacque Maribe and her co-accused Joseph Irungu took a fresh plea before Justice James Wakiaga, after the prosecution added more evidence that would include other suspects who were not in court.

The two appeared in court today for their bail application hearing.
Maribe and Irungu have been behind bars for weeks after they were arrested in connection with the murder of business woman Monica Kimani who was found dead in her house in Kilimani.
