A Woman Representative from Nyanza recently told locals in her village that she was voted into office because of her beauty and therefore owes them no favour.
“You cannot put me under pressure. I was elected because of my cute face. The voters fell in love with me, and they still do,” she recently told a meeting.
Her utterances, however, did not go down well with voters, most of whom have vowed to teach her a lesson come the next polls.
They termed the remarks unfortunate.
“She shouts in public flaunting her curvy figure and trying hard to look beautiful. This is not why we voted her. She is a let-down,” a constituent told PowerPlay.
The female politician is said to be too busy attending funerals and giving donations, yet she has zero development record.
She is, however, accusing a male MP of engineering the revolts against her due to her rising political star.
