Days after Betty Kyallo exposed her nanny for allegedly stealing from her despite the TV anchor paying her KSh 18,000 per month, the house help has now defended herself from her employer's allegations.
The woman identified as Consolata Wawira also revealed how the media personality is an absentee mum in her daughter's life.
In an exclusive interview, Wawira denied stealing from Betty claiming she and the TV anchor's daughter were always left without shopping in the house.
According to her, she was hired by the TV girl in May, 2019 after Betty's daughter, Ivanna, left the ICU and has always been on her side.
Wawira said when she started working for Betty, she was first earning KSh 14,000 which was later increased to 18,000 as the anchor had stated online.
According to the nanny, the journalist would leave the house on Friday nights and always comes five days later.
"She does not come home more often. When she leaves on Fridays, she comes back on Wednesdays," claimed the nanny.
An angry Wawira shared details of how she solely took care of Betty's child until on Tuesday, February 4, when her employer terminated her services.
The house help was fired on claims she has been stealing from Betty, allegations which she termed as lies saying it was just a scheme for the TV girl to kick her out.
Wawira says she has was not paid a single coin when she was fired by the news anchor.
She further alleged Betty had not paid her December 2019 salary in full and was left with her balance of KSh 3,000.
"When she fired me on Tuesday, she did not pay me even a single coin," added Wawira.
Wawira narrated how she solely struggled with Betty's child making sure she goes to school on time and is comfortable.
She also said she has been taking the little angel for therapy at Nairobi Hospital all alone and carried her back to the house from the taxi.
