In a report carried by the Daily Nation, more than 50 MCAs overwhelmingly cast their votes on Wednesday to oust the Jubilee leaders in the house.
The three leaders, who were impeached at the assembly include deputy majority leader Alex Kabuu (MCA Kiganjo), chief whip James Kimani Mburu (Mwiki) and his deputy Margaret Njeri Gatonye (nominated).

The paper further indicated that the four were considered Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu's point men in the house.
They were accused of favouring the executive, intimidation and being unruly among others
The MCAs developed the impeachment plan during a Kamukunji meeting that lasted two hours held at the assembly's launch.
The Kamukunji was reportedly marred with shouting and at one point, the MCAs attacked the speaker of the house for trying to persuade them into dropping the plan.
The leaders were replaced by a new set with Ndeiya MCA Gideon Gachara taking up the majority leader post.
Nominated MCA Ann Wanjiku was named as Gachara's deputy while Theta MCA Simon Karema became the chief whip to be deputised by nominated ward rep Margaret Mwango.
Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju also accused the ousted leaders of inability to handle party members, poor performance and unruly behaviour.
