RG Radio has sued its former breakfast show presenters Andrew Kibe Mburu and Michelle Kamene Goro.
The two were expected to appear before the Employment and Labour Relations Court on Friday, June 28.
Sources privy to the matter revealed that Kibe and Kamene had signed a non-compete clause which prohibits them from joining another media house.
They reportedly did not leave the radio station in a good manner and only gave a three-day notice which contravenes their contract.
The controversial radio duo joined Radio Africa Group and are expected to take over Kiss FM's breakfast show from Monday, July 1.
During an interview with The Star, Kamene stated that she was pleased to be joining the station because it has a bigger audience.
"It is a bigger stage for us and there is more liberty coming along with so much technical support. The show will be bigger and much better and it is going to spur people's mind," she stated.
Kibe, on the other hand, revealed that he was grateful for the opportunity and thanked God making it happen.
He promised his fans bigger and better content saying, "If you are a true Andrew Kibe fan, switch on to Kiss FM from July 1 from 6am-10am. Also, they should expect a lot of social media interactions."
