Journalist Jacque Maribe on Friday attended the wedding of David Gitari Itumbi, the younger brother of Secretary of Digital Innovations and Diaspora Communications in the office of the President Dennis Itumbi.
Gitari tied the knot with the love of his life Doris Nthiga at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.
Groomsmen at the wedding rocked blue fitting suits while bridesmaids dressed in red-themed dresses.
The bride racked a beautiful white wedding gown, while the bridegroom was dressed in a powder blue suit.
Family members and close friends came to witness the two exchange vows.
The invite-only event was attended by notable Kenyans such as Deputy President William Ruto's daughter June Ruto, former President Mwai Kibaki's personal assistant Ngari Gituku and former police spokesperson Eric Kiraithe.
Among other public figures who attended the wedding were Kenya Film Classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua and KICC Boss Nana Gecaga.
Itumbi later took to social media to congratulate the two and wished them happiness in their marriage.
“Congratulations my bro- Daudi Ule Mmoja and Doris Nthiga May happiness fill your marriage. Your Love is now declared before God and Man,” Itumbi posted.
Earlier on Thursday, Itumbi accompanied Maribe to court where the journalist sought to have her car handed back to her.
The prosecution, however, declined the request stating that they were still analysing the car as evidence in the murder case of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
