Leader of Majority in the National Assembly and Garissa Town MP Aden Duale is mourning two family members who died in a freak accident along Mombasa-Nairobi highway.
Duale confirmed on social media posts his cousin sister identified as Habiba Sheikh Abdullahi died alongside her daughter Deyman Hassan and a family driver on the night of Friday, March 29.
Deyman was a young promising medical doctor.
"We woke up to sad news following a road accident that took the lives of my cousin sister Habiba Sheikh Abdullahi and her daughter Deyman. We pray to the Almighty God to grant them jaanatul Fordowsa and give comfort and subra to our family," he mourned.
A condolence message from Garissa Woman Representative Anab Subow Gure, a trailer that had lost control ran over the car in which the deceased were travelling killing them on the spot.
"I send my heartfelt condolences to the families of Deyman Hassan and Mama Habiba Abdullahi Yunis and promise to give them moral support during these hard times," Gure posted.
