Kenya is a nation of brilliant young minds who are hungry for education. Every year, KCPE and KCSE results are announced, and while many students pass with flying colours only a few are lucky to continue to the next stage. Those from needy backgrounds find it hard to quench their thirst for education and end up doing bad things or being idle due to lack of school fees.
Well, last year 1,088,986 candidates sat for KCPE in 2019 and of those 9,770 scored over 400 marks.
There are some students who passed with over 350 marks but their stars might be dimmed if no one comes to their rescue. Their parents and guardians can’t afford to raise school fees to take them to school and one Levis Otieno Rabah may suffer this fate.
The young boy reported to Kanga High accompanied by his mother, carrying an almost empty metal suitcase that contained two bar soaps .

The story of Levis touched many and media personality Jalang’o highlighted it on air, calling upon Kenyans to join hands and contribute towards his education.
