Vocal Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria on quit his parliamentary position.

The MP held a presser at the parliament buildings indicate that the MP wrote to Speaker Justin Muturi on Thursday tendering his resignation.

The move comes days after he caused a storm after accusing President Uhuru Kenyatta of neglecting the Mt Kenya region.

During New Year eve celebrations at Thika Stadium, Kuria had made the sensational remarks implying Uhuru is biased in his development agenda.

"I want to say this, as we come to the end of 2019, I want you to think a seriously about your habit of voting in large numbers only to end up missing out on development projects," he stated.
