Horrifying: “Pastor raped me, touched my private parts with candle” woman tells court

crime-scene

Pastors behaving badly again! Who is the one this time? According to the Nairobian, police said the accused John Owuor Oduor, who refers to himself as a prophet, inserted two candles inside a woman’s privates before raping her.
The offense is alleged to have been committed inside his church, Gift Church of Israel, on November 9. As she was a new member in the church the woman claims that this was part of the cleansing process for her to join the church.

The prosecution states that Pastor Oduor claims he had been directed by the Holy Spirit because the complainant was facing a lot of problems including fatigue.
It is claimed that she was told to buy four packets of black and white candles and 4 pieces of red and black clothes that were to be used during the prayers!
The court heard that the woman went to the church with the items and a friend in tow and then they started praying. But later on, the complainant said that Pastor John asked her friend to leave the room as she stayed inside with the pastor.
The police add that the pastor asked the woman to lie on a piece of clothing, lifted her dress and started touching her privates with the candles!

That was when the complainant’s friend allegedly interrupted them. But according to the prosecution, Pastor John allegedly sent the friend away again. He is claimed to have told the complainant to undress so he could bless her private parts. He is alleged to have told her that it would strengthen her.

Police then allege that Oduor tore the woman’s panties and then raped her. He then allegedly gave her back the candles and told her to leave. Pastor Oduor denied the charges and was released on 300,000 cash bail. His case will be heard on February 11, 2019.
