A requiem mass for a 28-year-old woman whose body was found in a bathtub with her throat slit was held on Thursday.
The requiem mass for Monicah Nyawira Kimani was held at MKU grounds.

The deceased was discovered by her brother in her apartment at Lamuria Gardens, in Kilimani, Nairobi.
Monicah had been dropped at her apartment off Dennis Pritt road at 7:15pm on Wednesday, September 19, with witnesses saying she had been visited by two men on the night of her murder.
Her body was found with the hands tied at the back and her throat slit, with the prime suspect being Joseph Kuria Irungu, a private security officer engaged to TV personality, Jacque Maribe.

Dusting Maribe’s car
Police on Thursday dusted Maribe’s car as investigations into Monica’s killing intensified.
This is after it was reported that Irungu was driving the anchor’s Toyota at about 1.30am on September 21, when he claimed to have been shot and wounded in the chest by a gunman.

The exercise took place at the Kilimani Police Station. Monica’s burial is set for Friday.
