Lawyer Donald Kipkorir is both flashy and opinionated. The man paid 1 million shillings for Huddah to fix her teeth a couple years ago started out as a lawyer back in 1992.
He is now the Managing Director of leading legal practise firm, KTK Advocates. Mr Kipkorir is also considered to be one of the country’s most affluent lawyers.
His firm represents the movers and shakers in clients in the energy, telecoms, agriculture, education and health sectors, finance and government institutions.
In his time as a lawyer, the man has amassed a large wealth of experience and that makes him a man to be listened to. He recently ventured into the legal maelstrom that Jacque Maribe is facing.
Jacque as you well know is in a world of trouble after her fiance called Joe Irungu used her car in the possible commision of a murder. The lady who was murdered in this case is Monica Kimani.
Donald waded into the matter in a tweet that he posted about this mess of case for Jacque. His message read in part:
IN CRIMINAL LAW, IF YOU KNOWINGLY ASSIST IN ANY WAY A PERSON WHO MURDERS AS PROVIDING A CAR, YOU’LL BE CHARGED WITH MURDER…
Again, we still don’t know the exact circumstances that Jacque helped Joe with her car.
Donald added:
IF YOU DIDN’T HAVE PRIOR KNOWLEDGE BUT GOT TO KNOW ABOUT IT & YOU ASSIST HIM CREATE AN ALIBI, YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH ACCESSORY TO MURDER ACTER THE FACT.
All we can do is wait for the DCI come up with. Because at the moment, we don’t know what Jacque told investigators but the law is clear from the above tweet.
