
The controversial wajinga nyinyi song by Kennedy Ombima alias King Kaka which has rattled a section of political leaders in the country was meant to please Deputy President William Ruto, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has claimed.
The political commentator urged Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru to sue the musician after she was mentioned in the song as one of the most corrupt leaders who have fleeced the country.
On his Twitter page on Monday, December 16, the tyranny of numbers analyst argued the song was meant to ruin reputations of some politicians without substantive evidence.
"To Anne Waiguru. Sue King Kaka. Simpletons should not ruin reputations using newspaper headlines as evidence. But I actually enjoyed this song (in secret). The art and form were incredible! I think Ruto likes it too,” he tweeted.

In the song, the celebrated singer called out top leaders in the country for perpetuating corruption and also citizens for voting in the same leaders on basis of tribal inclinations.
On Monday, December 16, Governor Waiguru wrote a demand letter to King Kaka asking him to issue an unconditional admission of liability in writing, apologise in writing and delete the song failure to which she will move to court to sue for defamation.
“You must offer full unconditional admission of liability in writing where after the quantum damages to our client shall be pursued,” part of the letter read.
On Tuesday, December 17, under the hashtag #KingKakaForgotDP a section of netizens called out the musician for mentioning other corrupt leaders while forgetting the Jubilee deputy party leader.
