Identical twins Stacy Mukhwana and Shirley Mulongo from Kanduyi in Bungoma county share more than just looks.

The two, who scored the same marks in KCPE four years ago, coincidentally attained similar grades in the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam.

Shirley and Stacy amazed many in 2015 after they both scored 408 marks in KCPE before joining the same secondary school a month later, NTV reported.

The two girls continued to surprise more after they scored grade A- with 74 points in the results released on Wednesday, December 18.

They attributed their success to prayers from their parents adding, the school’s deputy principal as well as the principal were their main source of strength and motivation.

The 18-year olds are said to have scored the same mark on frequent occasions during their times in both primary and secondary schools.

Ahead of the 2019 KCSE exams, Stacy was indexed at number 74 while her younger twin was placed as index number 75.
