Former Citizen TV news anchor Anne Kiguta is set to make a comeback to TV screens, after a 10-month absence.
In a post seen by The Evening Post Ms Kiguta shared a picture of herself having make up on, which she captioned with the words, “Lights... Camera...”
In another comment on the same post, the mother of two said that she would reveal details of her new show soon.
“@arapkiongo Thank you so much. Details soon! Let there be peace, join him!” she said.
According to Anne Kiguta’s bio on Twitter, she is the new host of political talk show ‘Punchline’ which will air on Sunday’s from 9pm on the Mediamax’s K24 TV.
“The #QueenOfPolitics is back! Watch #PUNCHLINE Sunday’s 9pm on @K24,” reads Kiguta’s bio.
The show is set to begin on July 21.

This is the first time the bold news anchor will grace our screens months after she quit the Royal Media Services (RMS), Citizen TV.
Reports then said that Anne Kiguta was set to joined the Kenyatta owned K24 TV but that did not happen immediately, a move that left thousands of her fans wondering what had happened to her.
She now joins Fred Indimuli who also left the RMS Communication Centre for K24 TV and currently co-anchors the Prime time news with former KBC news anchor Rose Gakuo.
Others who left Citizen TV included Swahili anchor Salim Swaleh who moved to the Nation Media Group’s NTV, and Sylvia Chebet and Mercy Kandie whom both joined the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
