Diamond Platnumz has been criticized for spending time with his Kenyan bae Tanasha Donna during the holy month of Ramadhan.
Yesterday Muslims marked the start of Ramadan, a sacred Islamic religious period of fasting.
During this holy month, Muslims are expected to refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations.
They’re also instructed to refrain from sinful behaviour that may negate the reward of fasting, such as false speech (insulting, backbiting, cursing, lying, etc.) and fighting except in self-defence.
Diamond who’s a Muslim wished his brothers and sisters a great Ramadhan in a message which read;
KWA NIABA YA WCB WASAFI , WASAFI MEDIA NA TEAM NZIMA NINGEPENDA KUWATAKIA MFUNGO MWEMA WA RAMADHANI NDUGU ZANGU WAISLAM WOTE…
But quite a number of his fans told him to stay holy and avoid even cohabiting with his Kenyan wife-to-be Tanasha. Media personality Idris Sultan was among those who advised him to stay ‘clean’. His message to Diamond read;
The couple had shared videos of themselves getting cosy and the singer later shared a photo with his girlfriend, all decked in Islamic attire.

A section of his followers wasn’t happy. They accused his lover of mocking the Islamic religion yet she wasn’t one. Others even told the Kwangwaru singer that he was mocking God.
