A middle-aged Nairobi-based woman, who went missing last Wednesday, has been found.
Faith Mwikali Ngangi was found alive, though traumatised, in Nairobi on Sunday, March 31, her kinsperson, Kioko Ngangi, has confirmed.
News about Ms Mwikali’s disappearance was shared extensively on Facebook, with her family members requesting those who had information about her whereabouts to share it with them.
Ms Mwikali’s family filed a missing person’s report at Buruburu Police Station.
And, on Sunday, a traumatised Ms Mwikali was found alive and well in Nairobi.
“We are not comfortable revealing where she was found exactly, but I can confirm it was in Nairobi,” said Mr Ngangi.
“Until now, she is yet to share with us her experience. We can’t rush her into telling us what transpired during the time she was missing. Maybe, let us give her another two or three days to see whether her ordeal is worth sharing with the public,” said Mr Nganga.
“However, I would say she was found alive and well.”
Ms Mwikali, a former KQ employee, is running a private business in Nairobi.
