A governor from Luo Nyanza recently shocked a congregation when he confessed how a first time MP from his county took him to a witch doctor in the run up to 2017 polls.
The county boss said the lawmaker initially lied to him that he was taking him to a pastor but was shocked when he arrived for the purported prayers.
He found the black magician ready with his paraphernalia that was meant to help the politician win the fiercely contested poll.
The man told the church that he initially rejected it but coldly gave in after being convinced by his politician friend.
The witch doctor then demanded for Sh300,000 which the governor said he rejected and only handed Sh20,000.
The Grapevine could not independently verify whether the MP was out to con the governor using the witch doctor after some credible sources from the ground revealed that the herbal man does not demand for large sums of money as he did to the governor.
