Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris on Thursday morning was engaged in a heated discussion with KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua on KTN Morning Express.
The two public figures were discussing the debacle involving popular musician Akothee and her live performance.
Ms Passaris maintained that there was nothing wrong with how Akothee was dressed and how she performed because her audience did not have any children in it.
She further demanded an apology from the KFCB boss over his remarks on the musician's performance.
Beyonce wears less clothes than Akothee
"If Beyonce were to come to Kenya and perform she would have less clothes than Akothee and we would celebrate her.
"When I look at the pictures of her splitting her legs, Akothee is wearing two stockings. And I asked her about it and she told me 'Come on Esther, I wear two stockings'.
"And if you look closely you will see her mother and her father very proud of their little girl and that is entertainment, it is her profession and it is her business," the politician explained.
Ezekiel Mutua asked to focus on children's content
Directing her sentiments at Dr Mutua, the MP added: "I think Ezekiel, you owe her an apology because you insulted her and called her a demonic.
"She didn't do it in a school compound and she didn't perform for underage children and I think you have overstepped your boundaries by trying to tell us how we should think, be, behave and see. Regulate what you have to regulate for our children," Passaris stated.
In response, Dr Mutua agreed with the legislator stating that KFCB's major concern is what children are exposed to and upholding moral standards.
