Disturbing Events Leading To The Death Of Chris Kantai,- Late Star’s Pal Reveals



Legendary Kenyan rapper Chris Kantai is dead after been hospitalized for two days.

The rapper whose street moniker was Kantai, died early Wednesday morning after years of battling depression.



He breathed his last at the St. Francis Hospital in Kasarani, after succumbed to breathing complications.

A family member close to the star told The Evening Post, “He has been unwell for a long time now. Depression, ulcers and pressures that come with life got to him.”

The rapper has been battling with depression and the source added, “There were days he would lock himself in the house and not eat. He struggled alot with depression.”

Fellow artiste who started the music journey around the same time Kantai did, have spoken out about the fallen icon.

In her tribute she added, “It was a blessing to know you from the onset and I thank you for the contribution you made to the journey we continue to chart today; my personal one included.”
