President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to meet self-proclaimed Prophet, David Owuor, days after his security detail sparked controversy countrywide.
Speaking to his followers outside Merica Hotel Nakuru, Owuor stated that he had been invited to a meeting at Mombasa State House by the president.
He further divulged that Uhuru had even sent him a helicopter.
"Let me go, the president of the Republic of Kenya has sent me a helicopter," stated the prophet.
Our efforts to reach President Uhuru's communication team were, however, thwarted as Head of PSCU Kanze Dena did not pick our calls or respond to messages.
After the address, which took place at 11am on Tuesday January 1, the prophet was driven off from the venue but it was not clear where he was headed then.
Reports indicated that county security officials, including head of Nakuru Directorate of Criminal Investigations, accompanied Owuor to Merica Hotel where the red chopper was waiting.
This comes just days after Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet vowed to take action against the questionable police security detail that accompanied Owuor during his grandiose Nakuru crusade opening.
It was reported that eight fully-occupied police vans with sirens and two motorcycle outriders accompanied the self-proclaimed prophet as he triumphantly entered Nakuru town on Friday.
Two OCPDs were later apprehended for escorting the self proclaimed prophet.
