Vocal Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria on Thursday evening held a presser at Parliament Buildings amid rumours of resigning.
Sources had it that the MP had written to Speaker Justin Muturi on Thursday tendering his resignation.
The presser comes days after he caused a storm after accusing President Uhuru Kenyatta of neglecting the Mt Kenya region.
During the presser, Kuria stated "I call upon all Kenyans not to give up on this country. This is the generation that will fix our country".
"We need positivity,unity,hardwork and respect for each and everyone including our leaders and more so His Excellency President Kenyatta," he added.
New Year eve celebrations at Thika Stadium, Kuria had made the sensational remarks implying Uhuru is biased in his development agenda.
"I want to say this, as we come to the end of 2019, I want you to think a seriously about your habit of voting in large numbers only to end up missing out on development projects," he stated.
