When Gospel Singer Ben Githae started his career in the early 2000’s, his future looked bright until he produced his first political song ‘UhuRuto Tano tena’ then controversies started following him.
It now turns out Githae’s problems are not coming to an end any time soon as the musician has been linked to more controversies, not political, rather including baby mamas.
A woman identified as Rose Wanjiru on Saturday, January 12, revealed the gospel singer has been preaching water and drinking wine by involving himself in extra marital affairs with several women.
In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Wanjiru revealed the ‘Mlianza na roho’ hit maker has a series of side chics whom he does not provide for.
According to the 31-year-old mother of three, she met Githae in December 2011, after he had separated with his wife and the two kicked off a steamy affair until she got pregnant with twins in 2016.
Trouble started when Wanjiru was 3 months pregnant and Githae feeling deceived, disowned the pregnancy and demanded that she get rid of it but she refused.
“I refused to get an abortion, he then sent people to kill me, they beat me up until I was admitted at the hospital,” narrated Wanjiru.
Following the incident, and feeling threatened, she reported the case at Kasarani Police Station but was asked to withdraw the statements owing to his celebrity status.
“I got scared and felt Githae would one day kill me, so I opened up to my mom who did not know I was pregnant. I told her if they ever find me dead, they should know whom to blame,” said Wanjiru.
“When the thugs attacked me, I recorded a statement at Kasarani Police station but my mother told me I should do away with the case so we don’t tarnish his name since he is a celebrity,” she added
According to Wanjiru, when she sought to have a DNA test done, Githae downplayed the request and acknowledged the pregnancy was his and would take care of the children.
He stayed true to his words and provided for the twins until late 2018.
This was after paternity issues were raised this time round, Githae claiming Wanjiru had sired the twins with another man she had had an affair with before meeting him.

According to Wanjiru, she is not the only woman who has sired with the gospel star claiming he has another 7-year-old child with another woman.
In an attempt to have issues resolved between her and Githae, Wanjiru approached his parents who instead accused her of being the reason Githae separated with his wife
However, when we reached out to Githae, he dismissed her claims noting he had not disowned the children neither had he denied having a DNA test done.
“ I have not refused the children are mine, neither have I refused to have a DNA test. I have been taking all the responsibilities. I have been paying the house rent for her, doing everything for her, if there’s anything else, she should tell you, this woman is out to tarnish my name, let her continue doing so,” said Githae.
