Former Starehe MP aspirant Steve Mbogo has sued blogger Cyprian Nyakundi for publishing defamatory articles about him.
Last week the businessman turned politician strongly denied allegations made by the blogger about his wife, Sabrina Jamal cheating on him.
According to Nyakundi, Sabrina had extramarital affairs which led to Mbogo taking another woman, identified as Haentel Wanjiru on a trip to Europe.
But the ODM politician denied the claims which he noted were not just hurting him, but his young family as well.
“And stating that I took a girl to Europe to ease my frustrations. A lady I don’t even know this statements are completely false and have caused a lot of pain to me and my family. Publishing such false articles tells us the level of disrespect and jealousy that is within many,” Mbogo said on social media.
The father of two further warned the blogger against publishing malicious lies against him and his family.
“I assure you this is the last article you will publish about me and my family. Just be reminded that your stupidity will never bring us down,” he continued.
But according to a Kahawa Tungu source, Ms Wanjiru has been going out with Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and not Mbogo as claimed.
She was allegedly on a trip to Belgium with the county boss where he reportedly lost his bag.
