Kin of quack medic Mugo wa Wairimu who is on the lam claim that their son is qualified to run a private clinic.
Mrs Regina Ndichu, the suspect’s mother, says that she is ready to die defending the credibility of her son.
“He is my son, of whom I am proud. Even if you came with a big gun and asked me to deny him, I would die defending him.” she says.
Ndichu who lives in Dagoretti says that her family attended Mugo’s graduation on December 10 in 2010 at the University of Nairobi.
She even gave the media a couple of photos from ther son’s graduation to back her claims.
Mugo’s father who also spoke to the media said that business competitors had ganged up again to destroy his son who had regained a wide client-base.
In an expose by NTV, Dennis Okari showed how Mugo has opened a new shop in Kayole where he was running an illegal clinic with unqualified staff.
The chilling video also shows the quack doctor injecting himself with drugs while at work to feed his addiction.
Already, a team of special crimes detectives have been deployed by the DCI to arrest Mugo who is said to be in hiding.
