Rumour has it that ex-citizen TV hottie Joey Muthengi is headed to NTV following her bitter fallout with the Royal Media Services-owned station.
Ms Muthengi was serving her last month and hosted her very last shows on Friday, November 10.
According to one of the hosts she was working closely with, Joey who is also a talented radio host is most likely to land at the struggling NTV.
Her exit came just a month after show host and news anchor Fred Indimuli resigned from the station to join the revamping K24 TV.
Unfortunately for Ms Muthengi, her exit was not as colorful. She was summoned by her bosses following her successful Betin ad in which she appears next to footballer Macdonald Mariga.
Zumari.co.ke previously reported that the TV girl had broken the ‘conflict of interest’ clause in her contract by advertising a rival betting company at the expense of the SK Macharia-owned Shabiki betting company.
As at Monday, November 12, Citizen TV had taken down all the promos that Joey Muthengi appeared in during her tenure with the TV station.
Willis Raburu, according to information shared with the Zumari Newsdesk will continue hosting the show as the station scouts for Muthengi’s replacement.
