Diamond and Zari Hassan have had a tumultuous relationship this year. Nay, they have had a rocky affair ever since they first met, considering his illustrious second career, sleeping with multiple women.
Since Zari decided to end it all on that fateful and melancholic Valentines Day, they have rarely seen eye-to-eye on anything. And Zari the independent and amazing woman has moved on with inspiring courage; always taking jabs at her erstwhile ex.
Yes, that is the way the modern woman moves on. Destroy the man’s character to smithereens when you split up.
But while they may not want to see each other, they still have something that ties them together forever.
What? Is it the lungula? nostalgia? Nah none of these. It is the two kids that the couple had in quick succession; Prince Nillian and Princess Tiffah.
Since there split Zari has been living in South Africa. And while there she has made it a habit of complaining about Diamond not seeing his kids. That has been a constant refrain she had against him and Diamond seems to have improved.
And it might have gone on was it not for Zari’s smarts(or is it viciousness?). According to reports coming from Ijumaa Wikienda, Zari had visited a lawyer because she wanted sole custody of the children they had together.

In essence, this action has forced the singer to make a more concerted effort to see his children in South Africa on a monthly basis under the threat of losing custody of his children.
Diamond went on to refute the allegations saying that he did it because he wanted to and was under no compulsion:
