This past month has probably been the toughest one that Jacque Maribe has encountered in her whole life. After the murder of Monica Kimani, the subsequent police inquiry has seen Jacque and her boyfriend Joe Irungus become the prime suspects.
The result has been a stint for Jacque in our beautiful and well-manicured police stations. Then after her stay there she was placed in Langata Women’s Prison as a remandee.
During the period that she has been in these different facilities, one must wonder how has she kept it together? The answer is that she has had great friends and a family that has stood firmly behind her.

Yes, he may be her father but that should be held against him as he has been a pillar and a steadfast influence during this trying period that his daughter is undergoing.
Distinguished poet Dennis Itumbi
The prominent and drop-dead gorgeous Itumbi has been sending Maribe a lot of messages online trying to cheer her up.
Not only that, the very very attractive Itumbi has been going to most if not all her court appearances in support of Jacque. Such a lovely lovely man.
Terryanne Chebet
The media personality has known Jacque for a long time and can be described as her bosom friend.
She has also gone to bat for her after her legal issues and visited her in the various police stations according to a source that preferred to remain anonymous.
Kirigo Ng’arua
This is another warrior in Jacque’s corner. Rumour has it that the former Citizen T.V presenter might have warned Jacque of the dangers of dating Jowie.

The gospel music has been to court severally. Who knew the two were so close? Maybe they associated working together for CItizen T.V.
