Dennis Itumbi has been in the limelight and not because of his work as a prominent blogger but as a leading proponent for Jacque Maribe in her legal fight.
This has been witnessed in his many court appearances and his numerous tweets/posts about her since she police implicated her as a murder suspect in Monica Kimani’s murder.
All of the posts have been supportive of the Jacque and show a man who is deeply committed to her well-being. But not everyone sees it that way. Some Kenyans as is our wont, see an ulterior motive which they are quick to elaborate on.
Yesterday he posted a lovely message on his Twitter timeline speaking about Jacque. He wrote:
But if he was expecting praise for his poetic skills he got cynicism from other with some calling him out for his motives. One of the best was one that said he was still in love with the journalist. It said:

YOU KNOW THAT SOMEHOW THE LADY MAY WIN THE CASE AND NOW YOU’RE PLACING YOURSELF STRATEGICALLY TO EARN DIVIDENDS WHERE YOU’LL BE RAIDING THE COOKIE JAR WITH MUCH EASE NOW THAT THE COMPETITION WILL BE PROBABLY BE ROTTING BEHIND BARS.
