
Details have emerged on the condition Migori Governor Okoth Obado is suffering from, that forced him to be rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital from Industrial Area Remand Prison.
Citizen Digital, reported that the Governor is suffering from cervical spondylosis, an age related condition that affects the joints and discs in cervical spine in the neck.
The report also revealed that Obado will have to stay in the National Hospital longer, after his admission.
The Governor, who has been in remand pending investigations into the murder of university student Sharon Otieno, was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) after he fell ill on Wednesday.
He is expected to appear in Court on Monday next week, for a fresh hearing on his bail application.
The governor is said to be under a 24-hour guard by prison officers at KNH and is admitted in ward 6A where other inmates are admitted.
