Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Wednesday made a surprise appearance at the High Court in Nairobi to show solidarity with besieged journalist Jacque Maribe.
Kuria was among high profile government and media personalities who showed up in court to support Maribe as she battles murder charges facing her alongside her fiancee Joseph 'Jowie' Irungu.
Others included Dennis Itumbi, Faiza Maganga, Francis Gachuri, Kirigo Ng'arua, and Oliver Mathenge, who previously dated Maribe.
Justice James Wakiaga, who has taken over the case, ordered the suspects to be detained for one more week ahead of the bail hearing on October 24th.
Maribe is being held at Lang'ata Women's prison while Jowie is at Industrial Area Remand Prison.
