Jacque Maribe is going through a tough time and at this point, I guess only God can come through for her.
One thing that is evident is that she only has her family by her side. Her friends, colleagues have not gone to see her in court or even given a public statement in support during her trying times.
The Swahili saying rafiki wa chanda na pete is basically the ride or die type of friendship. But Jacque amekionea chake.

Ride or die an expression for any friend, family member, or romantic partner, regardless of gender, who will always stick by your side who will ride or die with you to the end.
The friends she has been posting holiday gateways with on social media and turn up nights using the hashtag #RideOrDie are nowhere to be seen. Even those who were present during the planning of Jacque’s grand engagement party have been silent.
We have seen at least one colleague, Steven Letoo coming out to send her a supportive message and her ex, Dennis Itumbi. The rest of her friends are nowhere to be seen. It even gets worse. Terryanne Chebet gave a statement on social media akijitoa saying she has not been summoned by police but in case she will be called upon she will appear.

That was it, she did not add a ‘sorry’ or ‘we gat you boo’.
IT ISN’T TRUE. NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ANY OF US.
Jacque Maribe thought she has friends even in the office up until the story broke and as the unravelling details of Monica Kimani’s death get scarier, Jacque Maribe looks like an accomplice to the murder.
Citizen TV has even gone to the extent of calling her a journalist or TV anchor or TV journalist without acknowledging that she is (or was) an anchor at Citizen TV. When her colleagues report new on the case, they do not mention Citizen with her name.

Is this a sign that they have completely disowned her as their own? Does she still have her job?
