New details have emerged on Joshua Irungu, a prime suspect in the murder case of Monica Kimani.
It is said that Mr. Irungu spent only one year at Nakuru’s leading day school, Langalanga Secondary school.
From the revelation put across by his teacher, Mr. Irungu joined form one in the year 2006 but later dropped out the following year.

“According to the admission book in the school, Mr. Irungu joined Form One in 2006 and left in 2007. He did not sit for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams at Langalanga,"said a teacher at Langalanga as reported by the Standard.
According to the teacher, his Form one admission documents indicate that he was a pupil at Carol Academy in Race-Track estate in Nakuru County, where he did his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education(KCPE) in 2005.
Contradictions
These revelations however, contradicts with what had been said before about his university education at Technical University of Kenya (TUK) where they met with Monica Kimani while still students, since it is not clear where he sat his KCSE exams.
A close friend to Jowie had earlier on shade some light on his lifestyle saying that he was once a devoted church member.
“I don’t know much of his present lifestyle. However, during our good times he was a staunch church member at Agape Church and a superb vocalist in the church choir”. Said Jowie’s close friend.
Devotied church member
To members of Agape Church situated in Pangani estate where the suspect worshipped, he was a founder member of the church choir Agape Stormers, a band which entertained worshipers in Nakuru Town and Naivasha.
“Irungu is one person who never missed going to church. His absence was easily noticed…I was shocked when I saw his photograph in the Daily Nation as the main suspect in the murder of a girl in Kilimani estate in Nairobi,” the friend stated.
Mr. Irungu, Citizen TV reporter Jacqueline Maribe and Brian Kasaine are the main suspects currently in police custody as detectives battle to unravel the mystery behind the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
