Former Auntie Boss actress Nyce Wanjeri, known to many as Shiro, has landed yet another awesome opportunity at a local TV station just weeks after ditching the NTV show.
The Evening Post learnt Shiro will be featuring in a new vernacular drama dubbed Ithaga Riene, which be airing every Friday on vernacular Inooro TV at 8.30pm.
News about Shiro's new found opportunity was first shared by the excited actress as she announced the show's debut date and timing to her Instagram fans.
''People of God, you asked for it, here is the first one before I unleash more. These are some of the places we took our gossip. 8.30pm tonight on Inooro TV,'' she said on Instagram.
The Evening Post learnt Shiro is among the major brains behind Ithaga Riene's production, which is the first project she embarked on after parting ways with NTV's Auntie Boss.
She had earlier on in an interview hinted about her new show but did not really divulge more info.
“About projects, we won’t count the chicks before the hatch. So we hush and wait. But there is a new programme in Inooro. I’m a main character there in a different way from Auntie Boss,” she said while speaking in an interview with K24 TV.
As reported by The Evening Post earlier, Shiro parted ways with Auntie Boss' managers in a not so diplomatic way.
In a long post on Facebook, Nyce disclosed it was time to leave the show after three years, 15 seasons and 200 episodes airing on NTV .
The lass also revealed how her contract with her former employer forced her to bid the character of Shiro Warugongo adieu.
