Journalist Jeff Koinange was in for a surprise on Tuesday when two men acting as DCI Officers went to arrest him at Citizen over some “tax” issues.
The two muscular men were secretly recorded apprehending Jeff at the Royal Media Services car park and escorted him to a secluded venue.
The two then escorted Jeff to the venue of his surprise birthday party that was planned by Director Monica Kiragu and long-time friend Xtian Dela. His colleagues were waiting for him at the venue as he turned 54 years old.
Kenyans took to social media to wish the veteran journalist a happy birthday on January 7th using the hashtag #HBDJeffKoinange.
Koinange was born in Kenya and worked with Kenya's first independent television channel KTN Kenya Television Network. He attended Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, NY between 1987–1989 and graduated with an associate degree.#HBDJEFFKOINANGE
