Journalist Mary Kilobi now says she has medical reports to confirm that she was a virgin on her first body encounter with COTU boss Francis Atwoli. “Growing up in a Christian home, I was raised to view my virginity as almost as important as my salvation.
It was my most precious possession, to be guarded at all costs for the sake of the man who would marry me. I saved my virginity for Atwoli as a sign of respect and not a birthday gift” Kilobi states.
When asked if she gave into Atwoli’s demands on the first date, Kilobi said “We met back in 2005, when I was a student at Makerere University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature and Kiswahili and since then I could not stop thinking of the man who had escaped with my most precious weapon” “I may have met some men in the past but sincerly they do not match this guy Atwoli!He is caring and this has always made me feel proud of the woman I have turned into” she further states. Kilobi has recalled her previous relationship with Jack Wanami Wamboka and described him as ‘ligi ndogo’. She has rubbished claims that she eloped from her previous relationship to win the COTU boss by insisting that Jack and her shared nothing in common.
