3 Buried Alive in Nyeri Quarry

One person has been confirmed dead while two others are still trapped after a quarry they were working in at Gikindu area of Nyeri County collapsed on them.

Reports by KTN News indicated that the quarry caved in at around noon on Thursday, January 16, while the three were working at the site.

According to a video seen by Kenyans.co.ke, an excavator was deployed to the scene to help in rescuing the trapped workers in a rescue mission coordinated by a multi-agency team.
