The Alliance for Real Change (ARC) party leader said life will become unbearable in the event the Jubilee deputy party leader rises to the powerful seat on the hill.

In a tweet on Sunday, December 8, the Kenyan teacher said the 'hustler' who has since declared his ambition to become Kenya’s head of state will continue with Jubilee’s “poor legacy”.

“Should Jubilee win 2022 elections under William Ruto, many Kenyans will leave the country. Life will be unbearable. Unfortunately, we are only three years away from finding out. You might want to start saving. But, should we win, Kenyans in diaspora will return to find a haven,” he posted.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration has come under intense pressure from a section of Kenyans over the poor state of the economy, lack of jobs, skyrocketing food prices and high debt levels.

Dida’s post elicited mixed reactions from netizens on Twitter.

While others agreed with his opinion, some dismissed him saying if the situation was that bad, they would have already run away.
