Wahu Arrested, Charged in Court

Celebrated gospel musician Wahu Kagwi was arrested on Thursday, November 21, in Kileleshwa Nairobi.

The mother of two was taken into custody and charged with dangerous overtaking, driving without a valid driver's license and causing obstruction.

According to reports by K24 TV, the incident occurred at around 10 a.m. on Ring Road in Kileleshwa.

The sultry-voiced singer was reportedly driving a Mercedes Benz 440L without a valid driver’s license, the court heard.

She denied all the charges during her arraignment at the Milimani Law Courts and was released on a cash bail of Ksh15, 000 by Senior Resident Magistrate Elector Riani.
