The ill-fated vehicle that sank with mother Mariam Kigenda and daughter Amanda Mutheu has finally been retrieved together with the bodies.

The incident, which occurred at the Likoni Ferry channel took 13 days for the bodies to be retrieved.

The bodies were put in white body bags and taken to Jocham morgue in Mombasa county by a police vehicle.
