
Popular Kenyan media personality and Reggae songstress Njambi Koikai is officially back into the country after a long stay abroad for treatment.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Njambi – who has been battling Thoracic Endometriosis – wrote: “Great to be back. Thanking God for all He has done for me. So happy to see my family and you all. God bless you abundantly. Taking a rest and I’ll see you all soon.”
Njambi, who is popularly known as Fyah Mummah, has undergone a series of surgeries since publicly announcing in 2017 that she had been diagnosed with thoracic endometriosis; a condition which causes one’s lungs to collapse frequently.
The bubbly former radio presenter left Kenya early last year to seek treatment in the United States and has undergone tremendous recovery; a journey which she regularly shared with her fans on social media.
News of her recovery and return has warmed the hearts of many Kenyans online:
