Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platnumz and his bae Tanasha Donna yesterday held a baby shower at Best Western Coral Beach Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
Everyone was dressed in white except for Diamond and Tanasha who were dressed in baby blue.
The singer wore a pair of white trousers and a baby blue coloured shirt, while Tanasha wore a sky blue jumpsuit.
Speaking during an interview with Sam Misago, Diamond revealed that the one thing he wishes for his unborn son is nothing but blessings.
I JUST WISH HIM BLESSINGS AND LOVE. I PRAY THAT HE WILL BE LOVED AND THAT HE WILL LOVE ME AS MY OTHER KIDS DO. I ALSO PRAY THAT HE WILL LOVE HIS MOTHER AND MY FAMILY AS WELL. I PRAY THAT LATER IN LIFE HE GROWS UP TO BE SOMEONE WHO HELPS THE COMMUNITY.
Diamond’s parents, siblings were present. Irene Uwoya, Vera Sidika, Rayvanny with his wife Fahima, and Mbosso were among the guests.
During the event, Diamond revealed that he had to forego a USA tour to attend the special ceremony to help celebrate his unborn son.
‘I HAD A TOUR BUT I TOLD THEM THAT THE MONEY THEY HAD PAID WILL BE GIVEN BACK TO THEM,’ DIAMOND SAID.
Tanasha is due any time soon.
