A fire that torched over 40 houses in Kibera area is reported to have been caused by lesbians in a love triangle.
Drama ensued after one of the lovers reportedly busted her lover with another woman and was utterly angered by the betrayal.
The angered woman, who is also a foreigner, proceeded to set the house ablaze with the fire spreading fast within the highly populated slum.
In the incident, one of the lovers sustained injuries and was rushed to hospital by her newfound lover.
Reports by the area Chief, Hillary Chumo, revealed that approximately 100 people were left homeless.
Reports by Capital News state that the firefighters were unable to access the area due to lack of roads as reported by Chumo.
Police already began investigations into the incident and are in pursuit of the lady believed to have started the fire.
In May, another fighting couple in Laini Saba, Kibera, got into a heated argument causing a fire that destroyed 300 houses.
It is alleged that the two engaged in war of words that might have turned physical, knocking down a burning stove that caused an explosion.
This resulted in a fire that burnt down 300 houses, leaving most of the residents homeless.
