Standard Six pupil hangs self a day after turning 12

A Standard Six pupil allegedly committed suicide at Gacharu village in Kiharu yesterday.
Bryan Kamuri's body was found in his room a day after he turned 12.
Family members said they did not understand why the Kiangochi Primary School pupil hanged himself.
Kamau Mwangi, a neighbour, described Kamuri as disciplined and hardworking.
 Area chief Hannah Wanjiru said they were investigating the incident.
